Creatorise App Prototype
Here's a tip — click a piece to get a full view of it!
April 2025, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects
Many artists, myself included, struggle or have struggled in the past with getting our work out there to a wide variety of people. This project was my attempt at a possible solution to this problem...An app prototype called Creatorise! In concept, it is similar to Instagram, but it is specifically made for artists to gain more exposure, find each other, and support each other's work. Please use the prototype by clicking the link below, as there is a lot to discover there that isn't on this page:

(Some features are not interactive at the moment.)
Project Description
After coming up with the concept, I created a document to list all of the possible pages and features that could be used, while making sure those aligned with the goals and needs of the app and its hypothetical users. These included a trophies page for gamification, and an in-app shop with (FREE TO OBTAIN) tokens that can be exchanged for app customizations and other features. Some of the concepts in the document did not end up in the final prototype, and while the concept may not be entirely realistic, I wanted much of how the app works to overall make sense logically.
Some user personas were also created to give a better idea of the types of people using Creatorise, including their goals, needs, likes, and dislikes.
Ideation & Personas

I then started working on some lo-fi wireframes for the most significant screens, based on what I established in my ideation document. Many different icons were created, and each of these would need to be remade in Adobe Illustrator before being placed in the Figma file for the final screens. The app also did not have a name at this point in the process.

After looking though some different typefaces, one that I use in my own branding stood out to me for use here: Quicksilver by Darrell Flood. This typeface gives off the modern, bold feel that I wanted to evoke in the app's logo. Another typeface, Inter, is used for smaller text throughout the app.
I wanted the colors to feel modern, creative, diverse, and engaging. The yellowish color on the left side ended up getting replaced with a slightly darker, orange color.
Type & Colors

I also decided to create a poster for Creatorise, which was made to evoke the inspirational and encouraging nature of the app.

This video shows all of the screens and interactions created for the prototype. While I would have liked to add more interactivity, I think this does a good job of demonstrating the app's purpose and functionality.
